Fortnite Elements Event Includes Avatar Powers, Aang Skin, and More

This unique event allows participants to master water, earth, fire, and air.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 debuted Korra through the battle pass, and three additional characters from the Last Airbender universe--Toph, Zuko, and Katara--have since been added to the in-game store. With the new Elements limited-time event, you may now wield the power of all four elements in each match, and the accompanying Elements Pass introduces Aang to the game for the first time.

The Fortnite Elements event begins on April 12 with the v29.20 patch and will last until May 2 at 11 p.m. PT / 2 a.m. ET. The event includes two primary features: the Elements Pass, which introduces new reward tracks for players to obtain, and the inclusion of new elemental weaponry to the Battle Royale mode.

The new in-game elemental weapons add one new item for each of the four elements in The Last Airbender: water, fire, earth, and air, which may be discovered in specified Shrines, chests, and as ground loot. Each weapon has the following abilities:

• Waterbending: Throws ice missiles against opponents and boosts health while under water.
  
• Earthbending: This creates enormous pieces of dirt that may be tossed at adversaries or utilized as a barrier to hostile strikes.
• Firebending: Shoots arcing flames from afar, or propels the player into the air and crashes down for an explosive assault.
  
• Airbending: Creates fast bursts of air that force the user to rush a long distance, or uses air to propel the user and other players skyward.

The Elements Pass will feature both a free and a premium reward track, with the Aang skin available to everyone who buy the premium track as soon as it is released. The free track contains goodies such as Sokka's Space Sword pickaxe for Battle Royale and Dramyin guitar item for Fortnite Festival, while the premium track adds the Air Nomad Staff pickaxe, Momo Messenger back bling, and concludes with the Avatar Aang skin.

Chakra missions may be completed to gain Elements Pass rewards, which unlock at a specific Chakra level. Quests focused on a specific element will unlock once a week, with the calendar looking like this:

• Water Chakra Quests: Available now
• Earth Chakra Quests: Available now
• Fire Chakra Quests: April 18 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET
• Air Chakra Quests: April 22 at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET
• Light Chakra and Sound Chakra Quests: 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET
