Genshin Impact Version 3.6 Expands Sumeru And Adds In Two New Dendro Users

The trailer for Genshin Impact version 3.6 is now available, and it features a new region in Sumeru as well as the first Akademiya Extravaganza.

Version 3.6 of Genshin Impacts will be released on April 12, and it will include a new location in the Sumeru region comprised of wastelands and an oasis. According to a news statement, grey crystals and corruptive purple mists have harmed this location. "This location was a major battlefield during the Khaenri'ah disaster five hundred years ago," according to the press statement. "Fortunately, visiting tourists are joined by "Pari," animals peculiar to the oasis. Travellers can visit previously inaccessible locations and thereby uncover secrets by using their capacity to fly."

The Sumeru Akademiya will organise the inaugural Akademiya Extravaganza, which will comprise two main events: the Wisdom Gala and the Interdarshan Championship. Booths will be put up during the Wisdom Gala, with six separate minigames made by one of the Six Darshans to showcase their research interests and achievements. In the update's new plot, the same six Darshans will battle for the top spot at the Interdashan Championship.

Baizhu, a five-star catalyst wielder and a "benevolent doctor with the power of Dendro, capable of driving wayward sprites and erecting a Seamless Shield to cure the squad," and Kaven, a four-star Dendro Claymore wielder and gifted architect, are both new playable characters in the update. Nahida and Nilou will also have replays in the first half of the event, with Baizhu and Kaveh making their debuts, as well as Ganyu's rerun, in the later half.

Finally, Apep the Dragon of Verdure will now emerge as a weekly boss in the new Trounce Domain. You may discover more about the tale behind this new fight, as well as Sumeru's past, in Nahida's Story Quest, "Sapientia Oromasdis Chapter: Act II."

Genshin Impact version 3.6 arrives on April 12 for PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile.
